Got a little more done and made a few more laps around the yard. I'm going to have to lock out 3rd gear when my son drives it's a little too fast.

extended the pedal for the brake linkage

welded the tab for the return srping

made a belt guide out of a training wheel and piece of bed frame

finished the brake linkage

this is what the throttle and kill switch will be mounted to

the contraption so far

Here is a video of me driving in the yard. At 6 seconds you can see it pull a small wheelie when I shift to third! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh_qVlV8nqs

OK after a long break I have gotten back on this. I tore everything apart and finished welding the frame. Now I am doing final assembly/fabrication. Will post pics and videos when finished.

Made some patterns for the floor out of cardboard. Also had to finish cutting out the inside of the plastic body. Maybe I'll finish this thing pretty soon.
