Got a little more done and made a few more laps around the yard. I'm going to have to lock out 3rd gear when my son drives it's a little too fast.
extended the pedal for the brake linkage
welded the tab for the return srping
made a belt guide out of a training wheel and piece of bed frame
finished the brake linkage
this is what the throttle and kill switch will be mounted to
the contraption so far

OK after a long break I have gotten back on this. I tore everything apart and finished welding the frame. Now I am doing final assembly/fabrication. Will post pics and videos when finished.

Made some patterns for the floor out of cardboard. Also had to finish cutting out the inside of the plastic body. Maybe I'll finish this thing pretty soon.
