I haven't worked on it since winter started. It's cold in the garage and I don't get home until after dark. I'm going to get back on it when daylight savings time starts again.

I like the dual exhaust! How low is it going to hang under the body?

Just wanted to update I drove it about 5 feet then the key on the engine pulley sheared. The way the pulley is made I only have about 1/4" of key engaging the crankshaft so I need to come up with a different pulley. I have also thought about a belt clutch but those are $$$

Do you have any pictures? I had the same thing happen on my Cub Cadet (it was a bad design)

I will post pics tomorrow morning. I solved the pulley problem by buying 2 Weld-a-sprocket hubs and welding them together. Now I have 2 inches of key in the crank so that ain't goin nowhere:) I drove it around the yard and I works great!!!!! Top gear is prob 10 mph max. All I need now is brakes, a return spring on the pedal, kill switch, and finish welding the frame. Is it okay to post a link to this thread in a youtube video description? I'm planning on making a video of me driving and want to link here so people can see how I built it.

Here are the pics of the pullies, the one on the right is the weld-a-pulley with 2 hubs And here is the beginnings of the return spring and brake linkage I will make the video once I get the brakes working.
