Just wondering...
I know the peerless 700 is the best tranny for a live axle setup, but what else out there is good?

wanting to get some speed out of it, but have some good Mississippi river mud to play in bigsmile

getting tired of snapping things on this dern t-axle, mad2 and thinking about going 1" live axle setup.

also, how do most tranny's mount? I've got a limited space to run anything big, and it'd probably be a centrifugal clutch setup.

Check out my build thread, you can see how my 700 is mounted. It's by far the most sought after transmission for racers and us off-roaders alike due to it's availability, modability and durability.
