Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.

Hey Chris, - - - Wishing you a nice evening,

Yes they're gone, sorry to be a bother.  Just Curious.

I just had My friend down the mountain from me give me a mower with a 17 hp B&S engine.   He even drove it up the mountain to give it to me.   Looks almost new to me.   He said it broke the grass cutting belt twice now and just gave it to me.  How about that ?

I'll wait until daylight tomorrow to see what I have.   Sure sounds good too.   I'm a little excited about the new gift - - -  sure have  plans for it.   I spoke to him last week about keeping his eyes open for a motor for me but sure didn't expect this.   I told him about wanting to make a all terrain  mower so he may be interested in this sport also - - - soon,  I hope.

Will let you know what it is tomorrow.

Alright, good to know they're gone. For some reason SMF by default gives the thread starter the right to lock/delete/move the thread. Which is something that I thought disabled.

Sounds good that you got a free engine! Is it an opposed, single, OHV, got pictures??
