Good Morning  Guys,
I always try to start the day off with a ' WHAT AM I GOING TO GET INTO TODAY "?      I find myself always trying to do ten things in the "time space" of one.  smile      Lately I've been on "hold" and wasn't able to do anything and now I'm trying to play "CATCH-UP".      Sounds familiar ?  bigsmile

The one big thing I started before mother nature stepped in was to build myself a proper workshop special for working on my mower.   I even got myself a welder  to further my education on how to "build" things in that area.  Been doing a lot of study and now that I'm getting out of the "woods" with mother nature,  it's time to get with it again.

My questions right now will be centered around anything special that "YOU" would build into a workshop to help with working on mowers ????   As an example:   I'm considering building a special  "LIFT" so I can bring the mower up to any level for ease of work - - - - to save my back !!!!! smile  Ideas on such a thing would be helpful.

Hopefully some ideas would be helpful to others that would need an extra pair of hands when you're alone and the "load" is too heavy or awkward to handle safely.

Another question would be:  [sorta off topic]  Does this count as post # two ?  bigsmile   bigsmile

Hey Guys - - - Always wishing you a nice day.

I was going to suggest a lift, but you beat me to it!

If you;re going to be doing welding, make sure you have adequate ventilation. Those fumes can really mess you up!

Hey Chris,

Always nice hearing from you, hope all goes well with you.

Thanks for the thoughts of the fresh air.   This "workshop" is an addition to my regular workshop and  will have three transparent sides that can be opened or closed depending on the weather and "air " wanted.   This will help  cut out shadows along with a skylight the full length of the roof.   I will be taking pictures as I build this.   Hope I can learn how to post the pictures [thumbnails].   smile  I've been told that I'm pretty dense at times - - -  bigsmile

Just another thought I would like to pass along to the rest of "us" poverty-stricken souls, bigsmile  This work-area will be a very "low-cost" thing so others can get ideas that can be used w/o breaking the bank.   This work area must look decent and be very strong as I live on a mountain that is beset with very high winds at times.

[Again I'm going off topic  smile  does this count as a post ?    eager to get into the regular post  bigsmile  bigsmile ]

Always wishing you the best,         caveman

Hey Guys - - -Wishing you a nice day,

Still need an idea or two about making "that" lift.  That's somewhat important to those of us that's trying to "fall apart" piece by piece . bigsmile

Hey Chris,  I've been looking at the airtools but enjoy rapping my knuckles - - -[CAVEMAN] - - - just kidding - - - perhaps down the road.      Clamps and magnets are a must as they are extra hands.   I thought the term "shadetree" went out of style with the new "PC" cars that no one can work on anymore.  You're not that old Chris - - - how did you "hear" of it ?  bigsmile bigsmile

Time for me to get off this PC and go feed my wild critters.
              Have a good one,            caveman

      Hi Kevin,

I'm so sorry about mixing up the names.   Please forgive me.   I guess I got caught up in "talking"  to Chris that I just got turned around.    I use to do all my own car work until they came out with them "chips"  telling the car what to do - - - sorta gave up on working on the fuel systems along with too many other parts.

Hey Kevin - - - really- - - how did you hear of the shade tree thing ?   Thought that went out years ago.
