gotcha with the class kevin as far as the pullies i usually flip the top one upside down to get some speed but with a lift you would not need to do that you could run off the deck pully bigsmile

both the front end and transaxle came from a newer dynamark mower...actulay so did the engine...but yea thats the transaxle says peerless on it

nah shes jus wet and dirty...wow that sounds wrong...can anyone tell me wha that transaxle is or how to identify it it has a 3/4 axle

looks like a 930 or a 20x (x being the number of gears) looks a little old to be a 200 series though. of course it could have been sitting in a puddle.....

kevin i dont have time to look right now but if you go to the heymow site there is a pdf file you can download that will tell you every thing youll ever need to know about peerless trannys and transaxles including identification if you cant find it ask squidd

that would make sense, it looks identical to my 204. a 200 series is a direct bolt in for a 930. its supposed to have a better reverse and shift position feel than its predecessor according to peerless. I have a mid 90's craftsman with the 206, it holds up very well, brakes will fail eventually.

well yesterday was snow now its pouring rain out....as soon as i get good weather i'll get back to work...i have a garage its just attached to the house so i cant weld in there...also what to u guys sugest for getting a stuck wheel off an axle?

heat, grind the axle stub off a little, take it to a machine shop with a press.

yea i'll see what my shop can do if not i have a feeling some heat and a bfh will help the wheels and tires are only for mock up eventualy im gonna get hubs 8in wheels and 22in tires
