Hey everyone. I'm from Portland Oregon. There is a track about 45 miuntes from my house that recently opened a lawnmower racing track. It looks like a lot of fun so I am thinking about giving it a try next summer. I've started looking around on the internet for info and stumbled across this site. Looking forward to meeting some new people and Learning everything I can about the sport.

Welcome to the site Justin. Where abouts in Portland? I lived there about 5 years ago on the Clackamas/Portland border. My girlfriend lived in Portland suburbs so I spent a LOT of time there

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.

No *poopie*? I use to live off 212 right by SE Armstrong CIR...

I only lived there for about 6-months; then I came back to VT. It was a temporary thing.

ODOT has completely redone armstrong cir. Or I should say eliminated Armstrong cir. They built a huge school on 172nd and screwed up everything out there. lol

There's still some farms right around there, but it's definitely changing to become the suburbs. lol

Ugh, that's disappointing. What I liked about living out there was you weren't in the suburbs!
