How does everyone keep their belts from slipping when wet? Is that possible? Are there any set-ups using chains from tranny to rear axle that are`nt the Peerless 700 trannys? Thanks.

Well, it can be tricky. It all depends on the amount of pulley/belt surface you have. I had a 5" pulley on the front and a 5" pulley on the rear of my Toro at one point, and it still slipped when it got wet. Proper belt wrap and clutch style is also very important. When I get around to finishing the Toro it's going to have a dual-belt setup. I have two 8" dual-groove pulleys so I can run a pair of A belts, and a quad pulley clutch to make sure there's appropriate tension on both of them.

Basically, the more contact your belt has with the pulleys, the better are your changes of going through water without it slipping.
