Been in the lawn tractor game for a long time. Looking forward to my next build. I'll keep this next one, I always finished ones before and had oppurtunities to sell them immediately after and did. Regretted it every time. But I'm too attached to my machines now to sell them. Currently have 2 Craftsmans, 1 Wheel Horse Work Horse, 1 Montgomery Ward Signature Series, 1 Jacobsen Lt. Chief. Not sure which one to start transforming. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get my camera charged up.

Know it very well. Go through there all the time. Some of the best foliage around every year. What do you got for machines?

Well i got plenty of crap, but no running off road mower right now. I got a grasscutter, a garden tractor project, and a wheel horse off roader project all on hold. I bought a motorcycle for $40 and im putting that engine in my go kart, so thats top on my priorities right now.

If i were you i'd modify the craftsmans, its always nice to have a spare for parts.

One craftsman i use as my mower, the other right now is parts for that one. My Workhorse has a HD tranny and is very solid. That's the one I'll be turning into the off roader. Everything on it is pretty accessible compared to the others.

How did you find us?

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.
