I'll tell you from experience, a RER is a BLAST on the trails. For whatever reason, I feel much safer having the engine behind me. Helps with traction too, but not so well for steering. Sometimes it feels like driving a snowmobile.

That is what I was counting on. I have 2 standard lawntractors , 1 is a Murray and I don`t know what the other is , I think a Monkey Ward and 2 of these RER Snappers.I like the looks of yours so I decided to go with the RER.

Here is the stretch so far. I am working on ideas for the front end. I would still like to use the deck that it came with, mounted on the front with a separate motor.

That's an interesting idea, I always wanted to use the deck as a "trailer" with a separate motor, but I think your idea might work better.
