Steemlan brings up a valid point. I thought we had something in the rules stating chains were disallowed, but a quick once-over proves me wrong.

cubs are great recovery vehicle but as far as trail riding they are not very impressive waaaaay to heavy got one that broke every front end we put on it including cast now we have a 4x4   1/4" wall steel tube with trailer spindles seems to be holding up fine also this one has no belt to speed it up it has like a car clutch and shaft to the gear box and i have found frame flex in standard mowers to help keep the wheels on the ground which is very good for atlm

I think wheel horses and cub cadets are the strongest mower ever made. The cubs are just mad men once you do some motor mods those shafts that are in there need to be replaced with ones from like midwest
