Gday guys,
Just wondering about the strength of the trannys on the RER like el'toro and the snapper mowers, are they regarded to be tough.
Im thinking 70km/h in top gear.

Like 700 series? there great transmission, one of the most used in racing because of there durability. Some RER use friction disc system which is hard to modify, so i doubt they would work.

Nah im meaning the trannys with input underneath and a side output to a cog for chain drive

Thats what a 700 series peerless is. Yup, he's right. 700 is the cream of the crop for everyone. This is the optimal transmission to have in a mower. |

Ok i checked, my 739 sprocket has a longer pitch than a #35 chain, same width though.
