Borrowed without the intent of return from MowBetter lol

LC's ?-------Local Chapter
MTLMRA?----Middle Tn Lawn Mower racing Assoc.
SP? -------S prepared
USLMRA?   United States Lawn Mower Racing Assoc.
S/S     I think its Super stock?-----yup
IMOW?-------International Mower Of Weeds
AP?-------A Prepared

A few other's you will run across sooner or later...

LCP - Local Chapter President
BP - B Prepared
CP - C Prepared
JP - Junior Prepared - JP, SS, and IMOW are all now pretty much the same mower.
FX - Factory Experimental

Somewhere up there in the General Section Squidd pasted a copy of the 2007 USLMRA Rules which will explain specifications on most of the classes for you... AP,BP,CP,SP,FX,IMOW.

The SS and JP classes are local class for beginners and kids, they are not USLMRA sanctioned classes.

Only one remaining after all of that is Stock, which is exactly that... take the blades off and make sure the safety switch under the seat works to kill the machine if you fall off. Officially, you must be able to put the blades back on and go mow grass with it after the fact. Likewise, no longer a sanctioned class. It's run on a local level only.

LMAO - Laugh My A.ss Off
ROFLMAO - Rolling On Floor Laughing My A.ss Off
LMFAO - Laugh My F******n A.ss Off
 Etc...

And, if you E-Bay

NIB - New In Box
NOS - New Old Stock

dont forget RAGB = Right angle Gear box

Also i think what would do good here is some explanations of some parts like:
Tranny Plate: a metal plate that welds to a mower frame in order to mount a seperate transmission on a former Transaxle-powered mower

(sp?) means poster isnt sure how to spell previous word correctly

Just incase y'all are wondering, cuz I seem to be the only one that uses this, DH = Dear Husband.
Also:
DW = Dear Wife
DD = Dear Daughter
DS = Dear Son

I chat/forum alot so I could go on and on but we'll stick to LM forum abbreviations... lol.

LM=Lawn Mower...wink

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.
