Does anybody have a 800/801 seris transaxle.

I am looking for the case halves for one.

This afternoon i went on  a local wheeling trail.

My bolts that hold my transaxle to the frame came loose and the case broke when i went a steep incline and the rear end started hopping.

Just goes to show that when you go out on a long trip to check all your bolts that could be loose.

I normally check these bolts becuase i have had them loosen up before and cause the belt to come off.

Today i just hopped on it and went becuase i was in a rush to get going.

I only had two hours to go out and the trail takes an hour and a half to do a loop.

Hey!!! Where are you from in Vermont, and how did you hear about us???!?!

I've had the same thing happen to me on my Peerless 900 transaxle. Your best bet would be looking around at your local mom & pop mower/small engine repair places. Sometimes you'll get a guy that'll be more than happy to GIVE parts away.

Welcome to the board Nate.

As for the P800, you might want to get hold of George H over on heymow.com, i think he said he had a few.  His website is : http://www.eccarburetors.com/

i got a p800 in good working order. It is currently filled with oil. Only problem is is the stock hubs that came on it are seized to the axles so you must use them. They are 3 bolt johndeere pattern\.So 3 and small 5 bolt pattern john deeer rims will fit..I will take 75 shipped right to ya.
