Hi Chris,    It's a very nice day - - - Here's hoping that it's being enjoyed by  everyone.

I'm pretty dense when it comes to doing some of the most basic of things,  -  -  - But  - - - -  I  keep trying.    I  hope  "you guys"  don't give up on me.      I've got some pictures to show you guys and  I  just keep stumbling  - - - - THAT's  what us  "cavemen " do best  - - - -  And I'm the BEST caveman around.         bigsmile   bigsmile

When I try to upload  a picture - - - -I  need to  "sign-in."       SEE       bigsmile           I can't even get that right      bigsmile
Anyway - - -  I  get a message that says  my user name or password is not recognized.       [  I think I still know who I am  - - - but it gets pretty dark in these caves sometimes.]    Maybe   I'm missing a  "cookie"    - - - -  maybe   a whole lot of them - -- -  bigsmile   bigsmile

      What am I doing wrong ? ? ?

You guys are so lucky that you don't need to look at these dumb pictures I've taken.      [  Count your blessings ]     bigsmile

Anyway,  I'll get it figured out  then you can start groaning about how can anyone   "do THAT to a picture".    bigsmile

      Hey Guys - - - - Really - - - - SMILE  while reading that,        Have a good one           Norman

Hey  Guys,    Just finished eating  and am ready to give this thought another try.   The last time I tried to upload the max of  four  pictures and it failed.      This time I will try only  one picture and see what will happen .     What  I  did  and  am  going to try again is  click on the  "  additional options " .

I'll let you guys know how this turns out.

Good Morning Norman.

When you go to www.offroadmowers.com , you need to sign in at the bottom. Now, the username and password you use here on ATLMA.US is not the same. You need to creat a new user on the offroadmowers site.

Once you have done that, you can sign in.

After signing in, click the Image Uploader in the upper right corner of the window.

Hope this helps.

Hi  Phil,   Hope your day has gone well for you,

I  got the instructions and  I  guess  I'm just a little too impatient.    I'm getting the same message  I  got yesterday.      I  do get  a  " Welcome caveman16  ",        BUT   when  I  click on the  "  upload  "      I  keep getting this message.     [  Your account has not been approved yet,  you cannot access the up loader at this time. ]

I  guess it takes awhile for the account to be approved.      I'll keep trying each day or so and wait.      I'm in no hurry and besides that   it will  SPARE  you guys from seeing what a mess  I  can do to a picture   bigsmile

Now  I  will really go "off topic"  for a moment or two.    Been clearing trail today  and now can get to my mountain lake from my driveway.  It's about 3/4  mile   drive.        Hope  to send some pictures of that also.      This morning  I  had a  "coopers hawk " screaming at me from a nearby tree as I loaded the ATV up  with my working gear.    Need to keep my camera handy in the future.

That's really nice of you to help me,   I  understand that  Chris  is real busy right now - - - -   Hope all goes well for him.

                                    Have a good  one  - - - -  - - - -  Norman

Hi Phil,     Here's hoping that your day went well for you.

I went on a few trails today with my  ATV  and every now and then  I  had a thought that  I wished  I could send a picture or two of this area.   smile   " You guys "  are     Sooooo         lucky that  I  keep goofing-up and can't send any pictures  YET.    bigsmile

I'm making headway tho - - - - .       I  was able to  get approved - - - - - --  for a few minutes  - - - - -than when  I tried to send some pictures - - -  I  was again  "told" that my  "account was not approved  YET.  "         This is like a cartoon to me.   bigsmile      However  us  cavemen are use to this and take it all in stride .       [  look how long it took us to invent the - - - - wheel-  - - - --  and at times  I'm still chipping away at a  stone to make another one.  ]           [  SOON - - --  a bicyle  - - -and then  who  knows what next  ]       bigsmile

Tomorrow  I  think  I'll do what i'm best at - - - - working up a good sweat clearing trail with a machete and some grunt.   bigsmile

      Have  a good one  - - - -- -    Norman

Norman I approved your Image uploader account. For some reason I'm no longer receiving eMails from this forum or the image uploader or I would have approved your account a while ago.

Also, when you upload the pictures, you have to make sure to resize them to a more manageable size (like 800x600) or the uploader will reject them and you'll hit your bandwidth/space cap on your account. What I use on my computer is a program called VSO Image resizer, and it works great on XP or Vista. You can get it here: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/image_resizer/download-image-resizer.php

The best way to resize a picture (at least the way I do it) is to copy them to a folder on your desktop, then go into that folder and select them all. After that right click it and left click VSO Image Resizer. When the window pops up, you can select 800x600 from the drop down box and decide where you want to save the copies. Then just click "OK" and it'll do the rest! Just make sure when you upload the picture that you're uploading the resized ones and not both the resized ones and the origional pictures. I've made this mistake in the past and it didn't work out all that well for me.

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.
