To be held the third Saturday in August (the 16th) in Woodbury Vermont. That gives everyone a little under one month to acquire a mower and get it ready.

There are only two build rules rules:
  • The engine in your mowchine has to be a motor originally produced to power a ride-on mower.
  • You can not spend more than $100 on the build. This includes purchase of the mower and any upgrades, repairs and safety gear.

There are no classes, numbers, requirements, etc... It's a run-what-ya-brung event. Must have all receipts to prove that no more than $100 was spent on your mower. (Although I'm sure that you can bring your ATLM to play on the track with)

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.

I've already warned the neighbors that its going to be a LOUD day behind my place that weekend.

I'm thinking we'll have to get the grill fired up after the racing's overwith, the more the merrier.

I might be bringing a few people with their mowers. Even got some people that have never even thought about doing it interested, hopefully I'll come with a few guys and mowchines. My girlfriend is coming with a videocam, and I think I'm going to bring mine and duct tape it to my mowchine!

Well, it's going to be at Chris's place (Goody454) this year, so It's up to him when we have more events (since it's his yard and all ).

My friend Joey has a massive amount of land, I'm getting him into this too - so maybe he can host a get together sometime. I would, but I only have .75 acres of land, and a bigass cliff to fall off!
