Yes that's right.... ANOTHER build... I just got two 10 y/o cub cadets donated to me... I'll have pictures when I go to pick 'em up.

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.

Sounds like you got some sweet finds!

May I suggest that you go with a transaxle in one? And a live axle in the other?!

Well, they both run and cut grass currently. My friend has had them since they were new, and now that they're older he's sick of tinkering with them and just went out and spent $1,300 on a new one. I'm thinking that I'll fix one up to actually cut grass with (That'll be a first for me!!!) and modify the other one. My Wizard was going to be built for the SuperMod class (I want suspension) whereas the Toro was being built for the Modified class... I think (depending on what the mower looks like) use this one for my Sandbox class Recovery Mower build.

For the time being, I think I'm going to slap some ATV tires on the back, change the pullies, throw on a teather and a few other safety devices and be a SAFE BYB (that an oxymoron?) for a little bit.
