Did some more work over the weekend. I tore apart the rear end to see what I'm going to do about mounting the brake caliper - it's not going to be easy since I have a caliper from a Banshee 4-wheeler. I ordered the rims last week and should be seeing them today or tomorrow. I just need to get another tube for the tires before I mount them.

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.

I've been trying to start working on this thing again...

I put the new motorcycle throttle on along with the handgrips. I also mounted the tires on the new wheels, but one continues to have a slow leak - so I have to get some tubes.. I had extra bedliner left over from my truck, so I bedlined the "floor" of the Toro. I bedlined the seat too, since it's just completely falling apart.

looks good, is that hammer finish rustoleum, auto frame paint, or bed liner? looks very rugged either way!

if it doesn't work out, these guys have seats pretty cheap, you might want to measure your mounts first!

Psssst.... Ryf, re-read the text smile

Both mowchines need new seats, they're all covered in duct tape and bedliner. Very low priority though, since getting it running/moving is the largest thing for me.

Hey Chris,
For seats I used a metal back pan seat from Northern tool. I picked it up for $17 + Tax.
You can see a picture of the seat in my build thread.

Did some more work yesterday. I couldn't wait to get rid of my wooden lift blocks. They worked, and they were safe; but still ghetto.

This is my new lift "kit". All this kit consists of are some body mounts from my pickup. They work really good, give me more lift than the wooden blocks, and they're pretty stout.

You can see I get about an extra inch than with the blocks. I was going to use my 2" body lift blocks, but the body mount were MUCH beefier.

Now my hold up is the brakes (again). I have 4-wheeler brakes so there's no way for me to mount the caliper. I have to figure out what I'm going to do for that, becuase I don't want to have to buy a caliper.

I briefly looked over that list but he wanted to sell everything at once, not separate it.

And like I said, I don't want to buy another caliper. I have 3 identical calipers that I purchased a while back, I just need to figure out how to get them to work for my application.

I bet those body mounts will help the ride quality some.

They might. My main concern was getting rid of the wood blocks.
