Does anyone know the difference between a briggs intec engine and a brings vangaurd?

A vangaurd is smaller then a intek.... A intek has more tourqe and HP.... But a vanguard has more readily available parts... But its your choice.

Well I am asking because I want to buy a motor from this sight  http://www.tons-of-tools.com/briggs-stratton-4466770127-p-3627.html   and the vanguard and intec have pretty much the same price not much difference.

Chris, No..... Well yes.... Some inteks up to the 19 hp inteks are single cylinder OHV But the 20 hp and 21 and all above are twin OHV

Well the 23h.p intec is 499.99 and the 23 h.p. vangaurd is 749.99.They are both ohv from the looks of it.So basicaly what I want to know is is it worth the extra 250 to get the vanguard or not?

Really its a personal judgment call........... Hey if it were me save the extra money and buy parts with that extra money you save for your mower..
