it didn't... ended up spending the money on a centrifugal instead... the house "dimmer" switch worked, but mounting it was a pain (and ugly) also the clutch I used was metal to metal for the friction plate. fried it after about a dozen engages (may have had too much speed on it tho {5" engine 2" trans}) I think if you could mount the clutch on the tranny instead of the engine, or added a friction plate made out of a thin brake or clutch pad it would have worked better. as I had it, it had too much speed/torque to be durable.

That's the biggest problem with 'em, they can't handle the abuse.
