eyebrow Umm, is that rotted 2x4 ur steering wheel? OHHHHhhhhhhh the expresions on the admins face's right now  noplease
Hey man, just put a new steering wheel and your good. That is a REAL REAL REAL good one to start with, it has a gear to gear 600, with a B/S engine. This mower should do you great  woo

roll ya thats a rotted 2 by 4 but i just pulled it out of mi back yard  yesterday  and just started so ya its temperary till i get the one off mi craftsman
i also wanted to mention the dual steering system i was thinking that would be good for a atlm
and with a peerless 600 am i able to lock it up?

yea that peice of wood isnt gunna cut it! noplease  :P

-Phil

yes, you can lock the up, One of our admins seems to know quite a bit about it. Ask Squidd, i would explain, but it might confuse you, so better him than me.

well i was thinking also about welding on a bracket and putting shocks on the front, its got pretty good flex in the front still not shure yet. also has anyone ever lifter the mower a good 3 inc before if so could you post the link thanx

-Mike

Shore has, One of our admins chris did it to a rear engine toro.

Read threw this one right here.......

Well, at least he has a headlight....

What is dual steering. Does it have a steering arm to each spindal. Does it eliminate the tie rod.

never mind i thought it had some sort of dual steering doh it just hasd a beefed up steering deal
still does anybody have any info on locking up a peerless 600

I'm hoping that when John Lyon comes by to get his G-Team FAST axle installed, I can talk him into letting me lock his 600 as well...(It's my old IMOW we're updating to new rules)

If we do that I'll be sure to take plenty of pics and step by step...

Otherwise I'd have to "draw" pics and try to explain how to do it correctly...

theres a few ways, just wate for randy to come in here, he knows all of the ways....

that would be great either the real deal or drawn pictures. as long as i know how to do it  woo

Just because you move up in a class doesn't mean that you'll "loose" the "race", it just means that you're building a better, more capable machine.
